As the demand for high-performance, sustainable batteries continues to rise, optimising the manufacturing process is more critical than ever. Achieving the correct balance of efficiency, cost-reduction, and energy savings requires to review the whole manufacturing process. This will be the main focus of the 2nd BATMACHINE Thematic Workshop.
Organised by project partners, TEKNIKER and FOM Technologies, the “BATMACHINE Advanced Electrode Coating & In-Line Methodology” workshop will explore the processes of slot-die coating, calendering, and quality control. In fact, these stages of battery manufacturing are crucial for battery cell quality and performance, as mastering these steps is essential for minimising scrap and boosting line productivity.
The workshop will be held on May 12th, 2026, from 15:20 to 17:00 (CEST), participation is fully online and free of charge. Registration is necessary to join the event.
