On November 6th, 2025, from 18CET, BATMACHINE will take the stage at the International Battery Production Conference (IBPC2025) in Braunschweig, Germany, for its official Launch Event, organised jointly with our sister project GIGABAT and LiPlanet.

BATMACHINE brings together European partners to develop and integrate advanced machinery for Lithium-Ion battery production. Together with GIGABAT, BATMACHINE contributes to strengthening Europe’s battery value chain by promoting innovation, sustainability, and digitalisation in manufacturing.

A Showcase of Innovation

During the Launch Event, BATMACHINE will present the first tangible results of its work. Since the full-scale machinery cannot be transported to the venue, the team will showcase:

  • 🧠 In-depth technical presentations by our experts

This immersive setup will allow participants to explore how BATMACHINE’s innovations can improve efficiency, precision, and sustainability in the battery production process.

Five BATMACHINE Machinery on Display

At the Launch Event, attendees will get a closer look at five key components developed within the project:

  • Slot-Die Coater – ensuring precise and uniform electrode coating

  • Mixer and Milling Machine – enabling optimal slurry preparation

  • Calender Machine – guaranteeing controlled densification of electrode layers

  • Roll2Roll Machines – allowing continuous and scalable electrode production

  • Machine Interfaces – user-friendly digital platforms enhancing process control and monitoring

Together, these advancements pave the way toward a fully integrated, intelligent, and resource-efficient production line for Lithium-Ion batteries.
